Establishing 2-Way Sync
It is very important to have a seamless connection between all of the platforms and Your Porter App. Therefore you need to establish a 2-way sync between all of the reservation channels.
Even if you are dedicated to Airbnb only, there are serious benefits of establishing 2-way sync between Your Porter App and Airbnb to update calendars regularly to get more exposure on Airbnb search results.
Very similar to importing reservations from Airbnb and other channels to Your Porter App, this time you will take Export Link of Your Porter App and import it to Airbnb and other channels to complete 2-way sync between different platforms.
In order to get your unique Export Link for each listing, you need to go to Menu
> Your Listings
> Export Link
After you copy the Export Link from Your Porter App, you need to import it to other channels as an external channel. This way you will be able to block already booked dates on other channels. In addition to that, this link will update your calendar regularly and give you a boost on Airbnb search results.
You can find the import calendar settings under availability or calendar settings in most of the channels including Airbnb.
Although we suggest 2-way sync via iCal for all channels including Airbnb and Booking.com, Your Porter App's advanced API connection allows those 2 channels to sync real-time if they are properly set up.
If you successfully activated Booking.com sync, you do not need to take any further actions to block occupied dates on Booking.com calendar.
Link other channels
Your Porter App can sync your calendars across many popular platforms like Booking.com, HomeAway/VRBO and TripAdvisor. You can find a list of supported channels below.

In order to link other supported channels, you need to go to Menu > Your Listings > Add Another Channel.
Here you need to select iCal sync for all supported channels except Booking.com. If you want to integrate Booking.com, you can read more about it in another section of our documentation.
You need to copy Export Calendar Link from other channels and import into Your Porter App. Most of the time, those links can be found under Availability/Calendar settings on different platforms.
When you copy calendar link of supported platforms, you simply need to paste it into the required field and submit. You will see an icon next to your listing as soon as you submit your new channel. Your Porter App will automatically import reservations from different channels and show on your timeline and calendar. Please keep in mind that the guest information which is shared in iCal links varies between different platforms. Your Porter App shows all available information which can be acquired via iCal connection.
After you have imported calendars from various channels, you need to establish a 2-way connection between Your Porter App and other platforms to make sure blocking the dates whenever you get a new reservation from a channel.
Add your Airbnb listings
In order to start using Your Porter App, you need to add listings from Airbnb to Your Porter App. It is a super easy and fast process.
Basically, you need to go to availability settings in Airbnb and copy Export Calendar link (iCal/ics format). After that, you can simply paste your link to Your Porter App to import and sync your calendar.

Since Airbnb shows Export/Import Calendar section only its website, you need to use your computer to add your listings to Your Porter App.
Grouping your listings
When you add your listings to Your Porter App, we ask you to group them together. Groups can be very useful especially for hosts with multiple listings. The listings under the same group will be visible next to each other on the calendar and have the same color.
You can group your listings according to the location, owner or type.
Groups can be edited anytime by clicking edit in the header of the group in Your Listings page. You can change the name and the color of a group. If you want to move a listing from a group to another, just click More next to the listing and choose Move.
