Pricing View

If you click to the Pricing View, you will directly see your Airbnb calendar and prices. The letter R is for 'Reserved' which means you have an Airbnb reservation for that day. The letter B is for 'Blocked' which indicates that your listing is not available for that day. When you get a reservation from another channel than Airbnb, we block your calendar in Airbnb, so you see 'B' letter in the Pricing View .

You can update nightly prices from this screen. Also, you can manually block your calendar and change minimum night stay on this page. If you click on the white box above the prices, a new page will be opened and you can edit that night’s price here.

Reservation Details

Your Porter App provides you a simple dashboard that you can manage all your reservation details. In order to see your Reservation Details, you can click on the reservation on Timeline or Calendar.

On the upper part of the screen, you can see your guest’s name, reservation’s listing, the duration of the stay, the source of the reservation (Booking.com, Airbnb, HomeAway, etc.)

You can contact your guest with a single click using one of the communication methods depending on the channel of your reservation: Airbnb, WhatsApp, Email, and SMS

If you scroll on the screen, you can see some more data about the reservation:

  • Check-in and Check-out Time: You can set your guest’s check-in or check-out time by clicking Set time button under the date. This data will be visible after you submitted on your timeline as well.
  • Guests: The number of guests you will host. You can change the number for manually added reservations by clicking ‘Add guest number.’ Also, you can specify the number of Adults and Children for the current reservation.
  • Arrival: You can add how your guests will arrive at your place. If you use our Arrival Form for your guests, we will directly update this information when the arrival form is submitted. Also, Your Porter App can track your guest’s flight status and update the arrival information. In order to do this, you can just add the flight number of the guest. After this, the arrival time will be updated automatically.
  • Nickname: If your guests prefer to be addressed with another name, you can add a nickname. Please keep in mind that nicknames will overwrite the first name of the guest in the all future automated messages and reviews.
  • Tasks: You can see all the tasks associated with this reservation here. It is possible to mark the tasks as completed or delete them by swiping a task to the left/right.
  • To Do List: Add a TO DO item for this reservation. It will be visible on the timeline as well and can be easily marked as completed.
  • Notes: You can add Notes if there are other things about the reservation that you may want to remember. You can share those notes in teammate task notifications as “host notes”.
  • Contact Details: You can add/edit your guest’s phone number and email address. Also, if you want to add your guest’s phone to your contacts, click on the phone number -> Add to Contacts option. In addition to masked email addresses coming from different platforms, you can save the real email address of your guests as 2nd email. Arrival form is a great way to collect your guests’ actual email address. Once a 2nd email is submitted, it will be used instead of masked platform email.
  • Booking.com and Airbnb share all reservation details which are filled by the guests, and this information will be automatically added to your calendar. However, some other reservation channels (HomeAway, TripAdvisor, etc.) do not share some information of the guest except guest name, surname and reservation time. Thus, to be able to send your automated messages, you should add your guest’s email address and phone number manually only for one time.

  • Get Messaging History: It will show you the Airbnb thread between your guests and automated emails sent by Your Porter App.

Sharing Calendars with 3rd Parties

In addition to our powerful multi-calendar in Your Porter App, you may need to share your calendar externally with 3rd parties like cleaning teams, homeowners or coworkers.

You can create shareable links for your calendars. It is possible to choose which listings your teammates will be able to view or which information you want to show on your shared calendar.

Shared calendars do not require 3rd parties to download any app. A sharable short link gives them an access without editing privileges.

Share Calendars with 3rd Parties

You can create unlimited calendar links with different combinations of listings and information to include. Click Create a link to share and follow 3 easy steps to generate your first shared calendar.

Create first shared calendar link in 3 easy steps

Each shared calendar has 2 important settings:

  • Which listing to show in the calendar
  • What information to include regarding reservations

1. Choose listings to include

On the first step, you need to choose which listings you want to include in your shared calendar. In order to smooth this process, we rely on the listing groups you created once you add your listings. You can include or exclude your groups here. If you did not build your structure accordingly, you can quickly go to Menu > Your Listings to arrange your listings within groups.

Grouping your listings under different groups according to location, homeowner or type might be useful when you create your shared calendars.

2. Choose which information will be shared

Depending on the purpose of your calendar, you may want to include different type of information within your calendar. The owner of the link can use this information by clicking on reservations in the shared calendar. There are numerous information you may choose to include in your calendar:

  • Number of guests
  • Guest Phone Number
  • Guest Email
  • Notes
  • Price
  • Confirmation Code
  • Reservation Source

Extra Information to include in the shared calendar

3. Give a nickname to your calendar

Especially if you plan to create multiple shared calendars, it makes sense to give them nicknames to share, deactivate or delete in the future. You can give a nickname to your shared calendar on the final step of creating a link. This is also the screen where you can have a summary of the settings you choose before you confirm.

Share your calendar link

After you create your shared calendar link, there are several ways to share it with 3rd parties. You can just copy the link and send it manually to the related person. Alternatively, you can simply click on Share next to the calendar and send it automatically via Email, SMS or WhatsApp.

The shared calendar looks very similar to Calendar of Your Porter App, it is just reachable by everyone who has the link and can be turned off if necessary.

Manage links after you create

After you create and share your link, the owner of the link can reach it on any platform. There is no need to download any app and the link can be used via browsers both on mobile and desktop devices. Once you want to pause the access to the shared calendar, or you want to delete it completely, you can use the green toggle or simply delete button to manage.

Calendar Views

You can easily control all your listings’ calendar in one place in Your Porter App. There are two different calendar views and depending on the process, you can switch between these two.

Calendar menu opens Reservations View by default, you can switch to Pricing View to view/edit availabilities and prices.

Reservations View in Calendar (Your Porter App)

Reservations View

The first one is Reservations View where you can see your reservations from different channels in one single dashboard. You can click on a reservation and see the details of it. In this view, your listings are sorted alphabetically according to their group names (same color) and nicknames.

If you click on the group name, you can hide that group in your Calendar View.

Also, you can add a manual reservation from Reservations View.

In order to add a manual reservation, please click on one of the small white boxes (keep pressing it for a while) in the screen and drag it until the day of check-out. After this, a pop-up in will be opened. You can add the reservation details here. Please click to the submit button and your manual reservation will be added to your Calendar.

We show the following 3 months on your screen by default. You can change the date interval with the help of two arrow marks on the right top corner of the screen.

If you click on the small calendar icon on the right top corner, you can change the calendar view to monthly view.
