While using Your Porter App, you have a chance to keep track of your different calendars on various platforms in a single dashboard. Your reservations, as well as daily rates and availability information, will be displayed in Your Porter App’s unified calendar view.
You can see your reservations from all channels, your daily rates, availability, and minimum duration of stay by going to the Calendar section.
Only the listings under the first group are shown at first glance, you need to click the group names on the left-hand side to open the other groups as well. By the way, you can always move your listing to another group from Menu > My Listings; besides, there you can assign a different color to each group.
If you want to have all of your groups are expanded by default, you can go to Menu > Settings to disable the Collapse Groups in Calendar option.
The calendars enclose the interval of 90 days by default; when you want to go onward or backward in the time, you need to use the arrows on the top-right of the calendar. If you want, you can also change the calendar start date from Menu > Settings > Calendar Start Date by selecting how many days from the past you want to see the calendar.
Creating a Reservation
In order to create a manual reservation, you need to select the interval first. You can either drag the cursor to select the date range or click on a single date and choose the specific dates on the opened screen. After that, you can enter the information related to the reservation such as name, email, payout details, etc.
In order to see all the details related to a particular reservation, you just need to click on a reservation to be directed into the Reservation Details page.
Editing Pricing & Availability
You can update the nightly prices, availability and minimum duration of stay settings from your Calendar View. Also, you can manually block your calendar on this page. If you click on the prices, a new page will be opened and there you can select the dates you want to edit by clicking on the boxes under 'From' and 'Until'.
You can choose to make the listing either 'Available' or 'Blocked' on this screen, and these changes will be applied to your connected channels such as Bookingcom and HomeAway according to your selection.
You can select more than one listing to update the rates, availability and minimum duration of stay settings simultaneously.
On this page, you can also apply Rule Sets that you have already created to your listing by choosing the related dates and the listing, please note that once you apply the rule-sets, they will override your existing pricing and availability settings for the chosen dates.
Please bear in mind that on a mobile phone, you need to keep pressing the date box for 3-4 seconds until it changes the color. After that, you can move your finger and mark the dates you want to change. When you release your finger, a pop-up for editing prices will appear. If you click on "?" icon in the top right corner, you can see a small animation regarding the instructions as well.
